What can I expect on my first visit to the clinic?
Our initial visit lasts about sixty minutes. We take the time to listen and complete a thorough history. Our focus is on finding the cause, educating our patients and providing a naturopathic treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
Does insurance cover natural medicine and acupuncture?
Some plans cover acupuncture and preventative medicine. Flex plans and HSA’s are welcome and accepted. We can check on your benefits for you when you schedule your initial visit or when you come to the office for that first visit. Dr. Mitchell is in-network with all insurance companies.
How much does this cost for patients who do not have insurance benefits?
The initial evaluation for acupuncture is $125 and return visits are $80. In addition to the initial fee there may be certain supplements recommended as a result of the consultation. If you are unsure of acupuncture as a treatment method, we can also schedule a consultation appointment for you. We do accept Visa, Mastercard, check, or cash in office.
Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment?
We ask that at your initial visit, please bring a list of any supplements or herbs that you are currently taking. Also, a list of any prescriptions and dosages you may be taking. Recent lab work or radiographs (within the last 6 months) are also helpful if you have a copy.
